My background is in business and IT, and I've always worked where the two meet. That's the idea behind Tozomation: one person who understands how your operation actually runs, and who can build the software for it.
I'm the third generation of a family rooted in the coffee trade, so I've grown up close to the industry and the operational challenges coffee businesses face. That's where my specialty comes from: logistics and commodities trade, with its shipments, suppliers, documents and deadlines. The same approach works for any company with repetitive work and information scattered across too many places.
What drives me is building things that give people their time back: time for decisions and strategy, and time for family. AI has changed how fast good software can be built, and I want small and mid-size companies to get that advantage too, at a price that makes sense for them.
Information sits in inboxes, spreadsheets, PDFs and supplier websites, and people spend their days carrying it from one to the other. Automation is what happens when the bricks click together. Pick any two to see an example.

A fixed build price agreed before work starts, then one monthly fee. Small one-off automations have no monthly fee at all. There's no hourly meter and no surprise invoice.
Improving the tool you already have is part of the monthly fee. Only genuinely new capabilities are quoted, once.
No minimum term. Stop any solution with one month's notice and take your data with you. Everything else carries on unchanged.
Your second solution costs less than your first: I already know your business and the infrastructure is already there.

Your data is always yours, and you can export it at any time. The software itself is licensed to your company rather than sold outright. That keeps the price down, and it keeps me responsible for maintaining and improving it. If you need to own the code outright, that's possible and priced separately.
Hosting on your own dedicated server, monitoring, backups, security updates, repairs when an outside service changes, and adjustments to what you already have. Genuinely new features are quoted once, as a fixed price. The monthly fee doesn't creep up with every improvement. Small one-off automations don't need one.
Nothing technical. Hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates and the outside services your tool relies on all run on my accounts and are covered by the monthly fee. You don't open accounts, register a card or keep an eye on usage. Your part is telling me what should change.
Each solution has its own agreement with no minimum term. Give one month's notice, get your data exported, and anything else we run together carries on unchanged.
A small automation can take days; a larger tool, a few weeks. You get a realistic timeline in the proposal, before anything is agreed.
Your data can be exported at any time in a standard format, backups are kept off the server, and every build is documented. Being small is also why you always reach the person who knows your system.
No. Logistics and commodities trade are where I know the vocabulary best, but the method works anywhere people lose time moving information between tools.
